SHORTCUTS

A shortcut is a path or a path through which we manage to shorten the way to go, it can also be a procedure or quick way to achieve something we want.

One consequence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and the catastrophic management of this pandemic by all public officials, more concerned with themselves than with their government tasks, is the monumental economic crisis in which we are involved.

It is common that at times like these, offers and business or investment proposals are multiplied that promise, in a simple and uncomplicated way, great results.

This reminds me of a story I was told a long time ago about two people, one of whom claimed that he could achieve splendid results with which he could live a better life.

The other person only had to provide him with some money to get going considering that it was a very clear and enormously beneficial opportunity for both of them.

Whoever proposed the advantageous business met with the other to explain step by step what it was necessary to do to put this lucrative project into operation.

Once together they saw a presentation, very careful, where it was explained in a clear and simple way how easy it was to get very interesting benefits.

And to confirm the effectiveness of his system, he made, once the presentation was over, a demonstration in which he managed to win a significant sum of money.

Then he said: My friend, I have taught you everything there is to know about this prodigy, as you have seen it is very easy, from now on you can do it yourself just like me.

At this point, he disbursed the amount established to acquire the necessary elements to participate in that opportunity and he left determined to repeat the steps he had seen the other take with the hope of achieving results and already savoring success.

However, after a few days, in which he failed to win anything, despite replicating step by step the simple procedure that worked perfectly for the other person.

He called the person who had presented him with that opportunity to try to find out why it was not working for him, once together they analyzed the situation and found the problem, to solve it it was necessary to make an additional outlay, the outlay of a fairly high amount.

But he had already paid an initial amount and he was not willing to miss an opportunity like that, especially if the benefits he was going to get were taken into account, so he decided to pay the additional amount and when he got home he made a transfer for the established amount.

From that moment on, he never again managed to establish contact with that person who did not answer a single call, nor an email, nor a wasap.

Unfortunately and with small variations this sequence of events occurs more often than would be desirable and I have to say that it is not the fault of the scammers.

Whoever tries to deceive needs the collaboration of another, the deceived, to complete the farce and achieve his desired benefit and usually uses manipulation for this.

The protagonist of this situation could have avoided this bad experience by asking this simple question: How much money have you already earned? and then checking the veracity of the answer.

When a person tells us that he can make us earn a lot of money, the first thing we must do is confirm that he earns it because if he does not, it is most likely that his proposal is a hoax.
