The extension of the state of alarm until next May 9 has already been announced from the government and they have also begun to announce the de-escalation which, logically, worries various sectors of the Spanish economy who are wondering how and when they will be able to reopen its doors.
In a report published last Monday, the 20th, the Bank of Spain talks about the contraction of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) that can range from 6.6% to 13.6%, wether it is closer to 6.6 or to 13.6% will depend on how long the paralysis of our economy lasts and, all this will also depend on when and how the various sectors rejoin.
We do not know if those responsible for the government of our country already have a calendar with the dates that they consider could be adequate for the Spanish economy to gradually return to normal. There are documents circulating in various newspapers with the dates of the different phases but as for today there is nothing official.
I do not think it is necessary to wait a long time to know the official dates, however, this does not mean that when the different businesses resume their activity they will have a business flow similar to what they had before we received the visit of the microorganism causing the COVID-19.
This is a completely new situation for all of us, there is no living person on the planet who has had to face a challenge like this one.
As I have already said in previous publications, the enormous arrogance that humans flaunt has put us in an enormously precarious situation both to face the virus and to face the challenge of returning to a normal life.
For some time, great medical professionals have been warning the governments of their countries of origin that there was a very high risk of suffering a pandemic and that it was necessary to take measures to face it in the best possible conditions.
However, obsessed by a highly pernicious strategy that has spread throughout Western society and which is none other than short-termism, most of the political leaders did not give it the necessary attention and continued to take measures that would bear immediate fruit, instead of doing a job that would allow citizens of those countries to face a problem as serious as this with a minimum of guarantees.
Countries, companies, professionals or individuals, all of them need to have resources, resources that will allow them to face an uncertain future with more responsiveness and therefore calmer.
A healthy economy allows us to face crisis situations with resources and resources are obtained by administering income appropriately and controlling expenses intelligently, and this is the same for countries, companies, professionals or individuals.
If you want to improve your economy, there are professionals willing to collaborate with you, informing you so that you are able to decide what is best for you at all times.
